JUDGING
Judging occurs in two phases. The initial judging will take place from June 8 - June 12, 2026. During this time, the juror will select the artwork to be accepted into the exhibit. After all accepted artwork has arrived at the Regional Arts Center, the juror will view the exhibit in person to select the award-winning artwork. Winners will be announced at the opening reception Saturday July 11, 2026 at 6:30 pm. The opening reception will take place from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm.
NOTIFICATION
Results of the first phase of judging will be emailed by June 16, 2026.
All notifications will be sent by email through Callforentry.org. These emails occasionally end up in one's spam/junk box. Please add the Callforentry.org email address to your address book, as artwork not received in the Regional Arts Center by 4pm on July 3rd will not be accepted for exhibition.
ACCEPTED WORK
Accepted artists will receive instructions for shipping and hand delivery. Shipping and return shipping costs and insurance are the responsibility of the artist. All entries will be handled with reasonable care, but neither TRAHC nor its representatives will be responsible for loss or damage.
Reusable shipping containers only. TRAHC encourages artists to insure their artwork when shipping.
No packing peanuts allowed. Any shipped artwork found with packing peanuts will not be unpacked, displayed, or eligible for an award.
Shipping via FedEx or UPS is mandatory. Any artwork arriving through USPS will be held until a pre-paid return-shipping label from FedEx or UPS is provided. All shipped artwork must include a pre-paid return-shipping label from either FedEx or UPS. Please make sure the return label is addressed to you. Artwork without a pre-paid shipping label from either UPS or FedEx will not be considered for an award.
Artists may hand-deliver accepted artwork to TRAHC by making an appointment to deliver the work. Appointments should be made with Marcus Zwiebel at marcusz@trahc.org. No unscheduled drop offs will be accepted. All hand delivered work should be wrapped or boxed for protection. No unprotected works will be accepted.
TRAHC agrees to receive artworks by either the artist or a designated representative of the artist. Either party will sign in the artwork by providing contact information for the individual dropping off the work. A secondary contact must be given in case the initial contact cannot be reached during pickup.
All accepted artwork is due by Friday, July 3, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
SPECIFICATIONS
All works accepted for the exhibition must be original, completed, and ready to hang. Substitutions of accepted works will not be allowed and all delivered work must match the image juried. All work must have been executed within the last two years (2024 - 2026).
Frames, mats, and overall presentation must be professional quality and in good condition. Artworks must not be displayed in clip frames, Swiss clips, Quick frames, snap-edge frames, or the like. Metal sectional frames must be strong enough to support the artwork. All works must be gallery ready, with an appropriate wire hanger, sawtooth, or secure method of hanging. Methods of hanging must be professional, secure, and substantial enough for the weight of the artwork. No plastic hangers, fishing line, or yarn will be accepted as hanging mechanisms. Paintings should be stretched or mounted, unless the artwork requires the canvas or substrate be unstretched (it is the responsibility of the artist to provide appropriate directions / mechanisms for installation in such an instance). Works on paper must be framed under acrylic or plexiglass/Plexiglas. All freestanding sculptures must have felt pads attached to the bottom. All video work must come with its own equipment (monitors, media players, projectors, as well as a tutorial on the work’s installation and setup). To reduce the quantity of untitled works, please include a title with the artwork. Artwork must follow these specifications unless determined otherwise by the artist and discussed with the Visual Arts Director.
Accepted artwork may not be removed from TRAHC prior to August 29, 2026.
SALES
Any artwork sold to the public will incur a 20% commission to TRAHC. Prices quoted on the entry form may not be changed after acceptance. Please contact Marcus Zwiebel at marcusz@trahc.org for pricing related issues.
No purchased work may be removed from TRAHC before August 29, 2026. Artwork that is "Not for Sale" should add NFS to the description box of the artwork in question.
Artwork listed as “Purchase upon Request” will not be accommodated and will be listed as “Not for Sale.”
LIABILITY
Works are entered at the artist's own risk. Artwork will be handled with reasonable care. TRAHC and its representatives will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage of artworks while in the gallery's possession or in transit. TRAHC encourages artists to insure their artwork when shipping.
REPRODUCTION
TRAHC reserves the right to photograph or use any of the works for publicity purposes. Images of accepted entries can be used by TRAHC for the catalog and other printed materials, archives, website, social media, and for educational purposes. All copyrights for the artwork are retained by the artist. The artist waives any claim, including any claim for invasion of the right of privacy of copyright, against TRAHC, its directors, employees, and volunteers.
AGREEMENT
The submission of entries to this competition shall be understood to constitute an agreement on the part of the artist to all rules and conditions as set forth in this prospectus. Entries not meeting the criteria listed herein will be disqualified, and the entry fee will not be refunded. TRAHC is a family-oriented arts council and reserves the right to not display excessive nudity or offensive/inappropriate subject matter.

Due to TRAHC's extremely limited storage space, artwork left more than 30 days after August 29, 2026 will be deemed the property of TRAHC unless arrangements have been made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
