Red is rarely neutral. It warns, seduces, remembers, and refuses to be ignored.
This exhibition invites photographers to explore red not as decoration or symbol, but as presence—felt, lived, and intentional.
We are seeking color photographs in which red plays an essential role in the emotional, conceptual, or visual structure of the image. Interpretations may be bold or restrained, intimate or expansive, but should reflect a deliberate and thoughtful engagement with the theme.
This is not a call for spectacle or cliché. We are interested in photographs where red emerges naturally from the artist’s way of seeing.
Awards
First Place: $500 cash award + solo online exhibition
Second Place: $300 cash award
Third Place: $200 cash award
Additional juror awards and honorable mentions will receive free inclusion in the exhibition catalog.
