Call Description

Blue Line Arts in Roseville, CA invites artists to submit smaller-scale handmade items such as mugs, bowls, coasters, prints, etc. that make great gifts this holiday season. For this show, artworks will be sold directly off the wall/shelf and there may be opportunities to restock work with local artists during the exhibition. You will be able to submit up to 10 artworks to be considered.

We encourage artworks be priced at or below $100, but we will accept pieces above this range. For this opportunity we are specifically searching for works that are smaller in size and giftable. Please no commercially printed items or pre-manufactured items. We are specifically looking for handmade items.


 

Application Fee

FREE for current Blue Line Arts Artist Members ($75) or above. Please contact the Gallery Coordinator (gallery@bluelinearts.org) for your discount code.  
$25 fee for Non-Members to submit up to 10 images/artworks.

 


Important Dates 

Application deadline: Online applications must be submitted by September 25th, 2026 at 5:00pm PST 

Show dates: November 24th to December 19th, 2026

Notifications: Results will be sent by 5pm PST on October 16th, 2026

Shipping Deadline: October 31st, 2026 (Artwork should be dropped off with shipping carrier)

Hand deliver work to Blue Line Arts: November 15th and 16th, from 10am-3pm 

Reception: Saturday December 19th, from 5 to 7pm

Pick up any unsold work from Blue Line Arts: December 20th and 21st from 10am-3pm 


 

Shipping/Delivery Information

All shipped work will be shipped back in within 2 weeks of the show's closing date.

The artist is responsible for paying for all shipping and should have a prepaid label from FedEx or UPS (No US Mail) for the return of artwork. Artwork that is shipped may be picked up, however artwork that is dropped off MUST be picked up by hand.

Application Requirements

You must be 18 years or older to apply. 

Blue Line Members: Blue Line Artist members may apply for free. Please email gallery@bluelinearts.org for your discount code.

All others must pay a non-refundable entry fee of $25, a flat fee for up to 10 images/artworks. 

 

Submission Requirements

  • Artwork Images: at least 2, up to 10
  • Artist Statement (optional)

Image Specifications

  • Between 1mb and 3mb in size
  • Minimum of 1200 px on one side
  • Images must be in JPG format

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to artists everywhere!
  • All artwork must be original and completed within the last 2 years.
  • Artwork cannot have been previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts.
  • All artwork must be individually for sale
  • No accepted entry may be withdrawn or sold outside of the exhibition prior to the closing date.
  • Blue Line Arts handles all sales transactions. Non-member artists receive a 50% commission from all gallery sales and members receive a 60% commission.

Size Limitations

  • This show is intended for small, handheld giftables. Please keep this in mind when submitting.
