Call Description
Fridge Art Fair has been running in New York since May 2013, intentionally timed to coincide with Frieze week in Chelsea. The fair positions itself as an open, artist-forward alternative to the major fairs: there is no application fee, all styles and media are welcome, and LGBTQ+ artists and allies are especially encouraged to apply. The 2026 edition is the second year at the Hotel Alameda Highline Bar and Lobby at 518 West 27th Street, a central location within walking distance of the other fairs concentrated in the neighborhood. Public hours run May 13-17, with a VIP preview on the evening of May 13. Admission is free to the public.

Eligibility Criteria
All are encouraged to apply, but only artists able to hand-deliver and pickup (or arrange delivery/pickup) of their work will be eligible. Small works are encouraged.
