Eligibility- Open to all media (including fiber, jewelry, photography, printmaking and woodworking) except giclee reproduction. Artists ages 18 and over residing in Larimer and Weld Counties, Colorado are eligible. No work accepted that has been part of a student high school or undergrad assignment. Size limitations: 60” high for 2D wall art, 84” high for sculpture (3D).
Celebration of Colorado is organized by the Museum of Art | Fort Collins in Fort Collins, CO. The all media Celebration of Colorado will present a diverse look into contemporary artwork in Northern Colorado and is open to all artists over 18 residing in Larimer and Weld Counties, Colorado. $1,000 in awards will be selected by the juror. $500 Best In Show, $250 for 2nd Prize, and $100 for 3rd prize and $50 for 3 Honorable mentions.
The entry fee is non-refundable and entitles the artist to submit up to 3 works completed within the past 3 years.
Transport/Shipping: In person drop offs will be best. Round trip transport costs for artwork accepted into the exhibition will be paid for by the exhibiting artist. All works will be returned via the same transport and packing that it arrived in. Please no styrofoam peanuts in your packing.
The exhibition will be juried by Beth Venn. She is currently the executive director of the Neltje Center for Excellence in Creativity and the Arts, University of Wyoming. Venn served as the founding executive director of KinoSaito, a multidisciplinary art center and artist residency program in the lower Hudson Valley in New York.
She has held curatorial positions at the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Newark Museum. Venn has consulted for museums, performing art centers and public libraries on strategic planning and program development, and she advises community-based arts nonprofits. She also serves on the board of the Wyoming Arts Alliance.
A native of northern Illinois, she received her bachelor’s degree in art history at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. After relocating to the Northeast, Venn completed a master’s degree in art history at the University of Delaware.

Legal Agreement
Specifications: Original work from the past three years in all media are eligible (2023-2026). No giclee reproductions.
Selection will be based on juror review of jpeg image(s) that have been prepped and submitted following CaFé entry media specifications.
No original work should be sent until requested. All artwork must be ready to hang with appropriate framing, hardware and installation instructions, and clearly labeled with the artist's name, title and medium of the work.
Museum of Art | Fort Collins (MoA) is responsible for works only while they are on the premise of the museum. MoA will not assume responsibility for work improperly framed or poorly packaged for transport. MoA will insure the works while on site for the insurance value indicated on the entries. Although all artwork is handled by professional installers, MoA cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. All round trip shipping costs are to be assumed by the artist. PLEASE DO NOT SEND WORK PACKED IN STYROFOAM PEANUTS...IT WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED.
MoA reserves the right to photographic reproduction of the works in the exhibition for publicity and promotional purposes.
