2026 Wearable Arts invites submissions from artists working within the fiber-based and quilting medium. We welcome original, handmade, and unconventional garments and accessories that treat the body as a canvas.

Eligibility
• Artists are invited to submit work created using fiber-based and textile techniques, including (but not limited to) quilting, felting, weaving, stitching, embroidery, crocheting, knitting, wearable sculpture, and mixed-media practices.
• We are especially interested in pieces that move beyond traditional apparel, embracing sculptural, experimental, and conceptual approaches to wearable art.
• We welcome functional fashion, avant-garde garments, accessories, and bold wearable statements that challenge conventional definitions of dress.
• Display: Artists are responsible for providing any specialized display materials needed for presentation, such as mannequins or custom supports.
Context & Vision
This exhibition is part of a larger gallery exhibition, Quilts Unlimited at View Arts Center.
View continues its mission to support diverse artistic voices, champion traditional media in contemporary contexts, and invite audiences into immersive, thought-provoking experiences.
Entry Process
• A non-refundable entry fee of $25/$20 for View Members includes the submission of one work. Each artist may submit a total of five images at a cost of an additional $10 per image. Please label detail images as “detail”. Payment should be made during the submission process. Payment and submissions must be made through CaFÉ (callforentry.org).

Terms of Entry
• All work must be for sale or valued for insurance purposes.
• View retains a 35% commission on all entries sold.
• Works will be insured by View for the duration of the exhibition.
• Work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.
• By submitting to the exhibition, you agree to all terms.
Legal
• View reserves the right to utilize all images submitted to the exhibition in promotion of the exhibition and for the general promotion of View.
• View may rescind the right to hang any work submitted.
Selected Works
• Selection notification will be sent by August 28, 2026.
• Selected work must be received at View no later than September 18, 2026.
- Label all detail photos "Detail Title."
• All shipping is at the expense of the artist.
