• A NEXT Gallery curated online show, that asks artists to create a visual meal. A fabulous, visual plate of delectables, or a disappointing potion of all that is ick.

The format of the piece must be square. The most intriguing work will be included in the show. A clear photo is important for jurying as well as exhibiting online. The photograph you use for this application will be used in the show. For a 3-dimensional piece, a square photo of your work will be acceptable.

The fee for entry is $25 for up to 2 piece(s).

NEXT Gallery is an artist owned and operated gallery whose mission is to promote art appreciation and education through community outreach.

The Square Meal online show will be highly visible. NEXT Gallery has a large online presence and a vigorous marketing system.

DEADLINE

The deadline for submissions is May 26, 2025

SUBMITTING ART

Submissions will only be accepted through www.callforentry.org  The fee for entry is $25 for up to 2 piece(s). Entries and credit card payment must be submitted on or before the posted deadline, with no entries accepted after this date. 

ACCEPTANCE

This is a juried show. Not all entries will be accepted.

NOTIFICATION

Selected artists will be notified by June 2, 2026 and the show will go live June 8, 2026.

AWARD

$75 award for Jury selected "Best in Show".

SALES

All sales inquiries will be forwarded directly to the artist. NEXT Gallery will not participate in any sales transactions.

Upload requirements for image files:

• File format: JPEG only
• File dimensions: No smaller than 1920 pixels square
• File resolution: 72 ppi/dpi (standard web resolution)
• File size: 5 MB maximum
• No digital enhancement is allowed

Eligibility Criteria

All artwork must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. 

No AI Art will be accepted.

Only entries submitted online through www.callforentry.org will be considered.
