Images must be submitted for consideration via CaFE.  In doing so understands and agrees that (1) Fig Tree Gallery will choose which image or images to use, if any and (2) that if the image is chosen the artist allows Fig Tree Gallery to use the image for publicity purposes.

Suitable Work:

Work must be original 2D or 3D work and made in the last 3 years.  Digital work must be printed on permanent media such as paper or canvas and labeled as photo/digital.  

Submitted images must accurately represent the physical work.  

All work must be suitably prepared for exhibition. Screw eyes and wire on the back of paintings or wall pieces. Sculptures or other three dimensional work must be ready for placement on appropriate stands. Sculptors will need to be available to assist with installation.

Work under glass should be suitably mounted or framed for easy installation, with no broken or cracked glass. No artwork requiring exotic installation or electrical connections will be accepted. Loose drawings or sketches are not permitted, unless framed or mounted for conventional installation.

At the discretion of the Jurists, more than one work may be selected and displayed from an Artist's submission.

COMMISSION: 30% of all sales to Fig Tree Gallery, sales will be handled by Fig Tree Gallery.

Important Deadlines:

7/12/26 -  All application entries are due via CAFÉ

07/27/26 -  Artists are notified of the jury's decision via email from CAFE

DELIVERY OF WORK:  8/21-8/23/26 (12PM - 4PM)-  IN PERSON Delivery and check-in of work 

EXHIBITION - 09/3/26 - 09/27/26 – Show open to the public (FRIDAY -SUNDAY 12 - 4 pm)

OPENING - 09/3/26 -  ARTHOP Show reception 5-8PM

ARTISTS RECEPTION - 9/5/26 - In person reception Noon-4 pm.  We welcome the opportunity to hear about the work from the selected artists!

REMOVAL OF WORK: Sunday, 9/27/26 27 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Work cannot be  shipped or stored at the Gallery. Fig Tree Gallery is not responsible for work not removed in a timely manner.

HOLD HARMLESS: By accepting these terms, the guest artist understands that the Fig Tree Gallery or its members are not responsible for damage, theft, or other harm to the guest’s artwork that may occur while it is in possession of the Fig Tree Gallery, and as such may not make a claim against the Fig Tree Gallery or any current or past member of the Fig Tree Gallery beyond the insured value of the artwork. The insured value of the artwork will be the listed price on the label. The Fig Tree Gallery carries insurance for fine arts with a $250.00 deductible. For artwork that is lost or damaged while at the Fig Tree Gallery, the Fig Tree Gallery will reimburse the artist for their loss within the limits of the policy and a proportional share of the deductible as appropriate.
