nn“All the World's Futures” is the theme of the 2015 Venice Biennale. Members of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society are invited to submit work for a membership exhibition that will open at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica Gallery in Venice Italy from July 28th to August 15th, 2015. This exhibition will travel to Venice via secure mailing tube with exhibition curator and work will be presented un-matted and unframed on the gallery walls. Please note this and send appropriate work.

nnThis membership exhibition will be juried by artist Stas Orlovski.
nnOrlovski is a contemporary artist whose work includes paintings, drawings, prints and animation and is one of the artists selected to represent the city of Los Angeles for the Venice Biennale 2015.

nnEntry submission to CAFÉ deadline: May 15th, 2015
nnJury Notification : June 1st , 2015
nnDelivery of work to Los Angeles deadline: July 1st, 2015
nnWork will travel with installer Mary Sherwood in a secure travel container with glassine interleaving. Please submit work that can travel!
nnWork that is at all dimensional or has a fagile surface may be rejected. LAPS Members should carry insurance on their own artwork as artwork in transit will have limited insurance coverage.
nnReturn of artwork: The week of August 20th work will be shipped back to artists with an email notification from Los Angeles. LAPS will cover cost of shipping art work to Italy. Artists need to send work with a pre-paid return shipping.
nnUpon acceptance work must be available for the duration of the exhibition.
nn MEDIA
nnOriginal works in all traditional processes including monotypes are acceptable. Small artist books will be considered if easy to package.
nnTraditional photography, offset reproductions or reproductions of art originally produced in another medium will NOT be considered. Prints that are strictly digital will NOT be considered.
nnSize: No work wider on one edge than 36”. The paper size may be longer vertically due to available wall space in the Scuola Gallery.
nn*No three-dimensional prints or prints with fragile surfaces. Prints will be rolled with glassine interleaving.

nn$15.00 for up to 3 images. Only one print selected per artist – so include your best!
nnSHIPPING OF WORK
nnAccepted artists are responsible for shipping to Los Angeles only. Please include a prepaid return-shipping label for the return from Los Angeles. Shipping to Italy will be covered by LAPS.
