Artists Press Release Call for Entries: Artists for Recovery Annual Auction Submission Deadline: January 1st, 2016 2D MEDIA “Artists for Recovery” will hold their premier event at White Walls Gallery in San Francisco on March 3rd, 2016. This fundraising event is a showcase of remarkable new art, which will be offered through silent and live auction formats. We anticipate over 500 collectors, curators, art lovers, and artists in attendance for this inaugural event. In addition an online gallery displaying the artists work and prices will be viewed by thousands. This is an excellent opportunity to present your artwork to new audiences while enjoying a terrific evening of music, food, drink and art. Proceeds will benefit Nu Outlook, a 15 year old San Francisco 501(c)3 Non-Profit that benefits an excess of 3,000 clients per month by providing facilities for recovery programs. Nu Outlook is anticipating the event to be the primary funding source for their operations. Artist for Recovery artists can recoup 10% of the net proceeds from the sale of their artwork, which will be available at our auction and online. THEME While we do not have a specific theme, the quality and presentation is foremost on the agenda. We are looking for the most desirable and compelling artwork being created today. Please submit your best efforts to benefit you and the community! ELIGIBILITY “Artists for Recovery” is open to all Artists. If you are accepted, we ask that if you are outside of the San Francisco Bay Area that you provide shipping for your artwork. All entries must be original and executed within the past 3 years. Jurors: To be announced soon. REQUIREMENTS: • Entries are accepted in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and mixed media. (Sculptures, Film, video and web based projects are not eligible.) • Largest dimension is 40" on any side • We accept up 3 entries per artist in digital format • Artwork must be wired, pre-assembled, framed where applicable and ready to hang. • Artwork must be labeled with the artist's name and the title of the piece. • Only submissions through www.callforentry.org will be considered. • Search: Artists for Recovery • Artists for Recovery reserves the right to use images of accepted artwork for promotional use online and in print for the Auction. The artist retains the copyright for these images. • Artists for Recovery will NOT accept: • Diptychs, triptychs, giclee reproductions, sculpture. • Non-digital or late submissions.
