Over $1,000 in cash awards will be presented on the basis of the juror’s selections.

DEADLINES
Application and Fees: September 20th, apply through callforentry.org
Accepted Works Due: Monday October 5th from 1-7 pm and Tuesday October 6th 9 am-4 pm in the Wright Gallery located in the Library on the CLC Grayslake campus.
Opening Reception: 6-8 pm Friday October 9th
Exhibited Work Picked Up: 1-7 p.m. Monday November 16th and Tuesday November 17th from 9 am-4 pm in the Wright Gallery located in the Library on the CLC Grayslake campus.
Notification: Saturday September 26th through the callforentry.org website and email.
 
ELIGIBILITY
All artists age 18 or older who reside or work in Lake County are eligible to enter.
(Non-Lake County residents must indicate workplace on the Entry form.) Artists may submit up to two entries. Submitted entries must have been completed within the last two years. No changes or substitutions allowed. Work previously shown in the Robert T. Wright Gallery of Art is not eligible for this show.
 
MEDIA
All work must be original, never before shown in this gallery, and completed within the
last two years. Reproductions or copies of original work will not be accepted.
Works limited to 74” in any direction.
Paintings may be in any medium. All work must be dry and hang wire should be attached to the back.
Works on canvas with a finished and presentable edge need not be framed.
Prints, drawings and photographs must be framed, under glass or plexi and hang wire should be attached to the back of the frame.  Please us black, metal, white or non-ornate wood frames only.
Sculpture & Ceramics may be free-standing or supportable on a base, for entries
over 100 lbs. phone 847-543-2240 or 847-543-2405 to make arrangements.
Mutiple pieces (diptychs, triptychs, etc.) may be selected in part as per jurors’ discretion.
 
LIABILITY
Every reasonable precaution will be taken to safeguard entries from damage. Accepted works will be insured. For insurance purposes, all work must be marked with a value. $3,000 is the maximum insurance coverage.
 
SALES
All work for sale will be at the artist’s valuation; work not for sale should be so marked.
A commission of 35% will be retained by the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art
on all work sold, including Purchase Awards.
 
ENTRY FEE
Entry Fee: 1- 2 pieces/$20.
 A $5 dollar coupon code can be used by gallery members only, enter the word “recent” in the code box to receive the discount.
Artist Membership is $30 and must be current through the end of the show.  Gallery fees can be paid for through the CAFÉ website while submitting a show entry.  Mailed jury and membership fees must be received by the Wright Gallery of Art by Sunday September 20th.  (Allow at least 5 business days for mailed entries to arrive by the deadline.) The jury fee is non-refundable. Jurors’ decisions are final.
You may hand deliver your entry fee and membership fee to the Communication Arts office or the Artcetera Gallery shopMake checks payable to the College of Lake County.
 
DELIVERY AND PICK-UP OF ART
Deliver accepted work to the art gallery located in the first floor of the Library on Monday October 5th from 1 pm to 7 pm or Tuesday October 6th from 9 am to 4 pm.
• Exhibited work must remain in place for the duration of the show. Pick-up for exhibited work
is Monday, November 16 from 1pm to 7 pm and Tuesday November 17 from 9 am to 4 pm in the Gallery. Temporary parking for pick-ups is permitted at LRC Receiving. Leave car flashers on.
PLEASE NOTE: The gallery will be released of all responsibilities for art not claimed by the specified dates. Submission of the entry form will constitute an agreement to all conditions in this prospectus.
 
RECEPTION
All entering artists, their families and friends are cordially invited to an Opening Reception
on Friday evening, October 9th from 6-8 pm in the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art,
College of Lake County.  Live music and refreshments will be featured during the opening.  Exhibition Dates: October 9th to November 15th.  Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 9pm, Fridays 8 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturdays 9 am to 3 pm.  847-543-2040
 
Art Labels
Accepted entries should have an identification label fixed to the back of the artwork prior to dropping the piece off for the show.  A label should be attached securely to the back of the accepted artwork if 2-D, or to the bottom of a 3-D piece. Information on forms cannot be changed after they are submitted. Please include name, address, phone number, email address, title of the artwork, medium, and sale price. Work labeled not for sale should still have a value written for insurance purposes.
 
MEMBERSHIP
Membership dues of $30 can be paid for on the CAFÉ website, can be submitted by check to the CommArts office, Attention Melanie Kessler, College of Lake County, 19351 West Washington Street, Grayslake, IL 60030-1198 or can be paid in person at the Artcetera gallery shop located in the gallery.

NOTIFICATION
 
Artists will be notified by email about their acceptance to the show on September 26th, when jury is complete, artists can also log on to CAFÉ on or after that date to see their acceptance
