nOur first ever All About Photo Awards invites photographers from around the world to unfold their visual emotions. In reference to Henri Cartier-Bresson’s photo essay, The Mind’s Eye outlines depth and thoughts behind each image.

nPrizes:
nWinners will receive $20,000 in cash awards, extensive press coverage and global recognition.
nThe grand prize is $10,000, the 2nd prize is $5,000, the 3rd prize is $2,500, the 4th prize is $1,500 and the 5th prize is $1000!

nAll winners will have their work showcased at Jules Maeght Gallery in San Francisco in May 2016. A selection of entrants of particular merit will also be invited to display their work in the Winners Gallery of www.all-about-photo.com

nAll About Photo Awards, The Mind’s Eye is open to all individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. It is open to professional and amateur photographers alike.

nNo. What your mind sees and decides to photograph is totally up to your intuition.

nAbout the show at the Jules Maeght Gallery in May:
nThe five prize winner will have to send their prints to All About Photo during the month of April 2016.
nAll photographs must be signed by the artist.
nArtwork must be 30 inches or less in either height or width.
nAAP will take care of mating and framing.
nAll work accepted for gallery exhibition must be for sale.
nJules Maeght Gallery will retain a 50% commission on the sale of each work.
nIn the case the artwork is not sold during the two week period of the show, AAP will send the print without framing back to the artist.

nWhen is the deadline for sending in submissions?
nThe deadline for entering the competition is January 31st, 2016 12 pm MDT

nWhat size and format should I upload photos in?
nImages should be no smaller than 1920 pixels and no larger than 5MB. Images should be in JPEG.  All images must be saved in RGB.

nWhat about copyright?
nAll photographers retain full copyrights for their own work.

nWho pays taxes?
nThe winner is responsible for paying any taxes in his/her country.
n
nWhen will the winners be announced?
nThe winners will be announced around March 31, 2016.

nWinning images will be available online at www.all-about-photo.com after March 31, 2016.
