nDeadline for Submission: February 7, 2016
n
nThe Photographic Resource Center is thrilled to announce its annual juried show and esteemed jurors, listed above and with more info below. The PRC invites entries for EXPOSURE: The 20th Annual PRC Juried Exhibition and seeks a broad range of work, including both traditional and non-traditional approaches to photography. Since its inception in 1996, over 300 photographers have shown in the PRC Juried Exhibitions—including an array of established photographers and those cited as “ones to watch.” Jurors select between ten to fifteen artists and two and five pieces per person, thus offering artists the opportunity to showcase a series at a deeper level and making for an enriching experience for audiences as well.
n
nThis is a special time for the PRC: this juried show iteration marks the 20th Annual version of this renowned, national opportunity and builds on the 30th anniversary of our gallery space, celebrated this past fall, and the upcoming 40th anniversary of the PRC itself in 2016.  Typically, EXPOSURE is juried by one juror, but to honor these milestones, we aimed for a chorus of voices and assembled a stellar slate. Thus, we asked former Curators and Directors of Exhibitions at the PRC -- each with impressive current experiences and positions as well -- to collectively jury this year's exhibition.
n
nAdding to increased EXPOSURE this year, we are presenting the exhibition during and as a part of the Flash Forward Festival in Boston (http://www.flashforwardfestival.com/). Flash Forward is produced by the international organization, Magenta Foundation, and brings together photography shows, programs, and celebrations all over town. The opening will be a part of the Flash Forward events and the show will be listed and promoted on their website and materials, garnering an even wider audience. The 2016 Festival is scheduled for May 1-8, across Boston, and our opening for EXPOSURE 2016 is slotted for the evening of Thursday, May 5th. With this year's unique opportunity, there are many reasons to enter and the EXPOSURE is increased exponentially!
n
nWe're honored and grateful to have this group of five incredible photographic curators, gallerists, educators, and scholars and delighted that the occasion acknowledges and commemorates our past, and also celebrates and looks to the future

nPRC Juried Show History:
nEXPOSURE is a great opportunity to view a slice of the best and brightest as selected by a nationally-renowned juror. In celebration of the PRC's 30th anniversary in the 2006/2007 academic year and to reflect more accurately the mission and function of our annual photography competition, we changed the name of the PRC Members' Exhibition to EXPOSURE: The Annual PRC Juried Exhibition. Past exhibiting photographers have included Claire Beckett, Victoria Crayhon, Eliot Dudik, Dave Jordano, Benjamin Lowy, Neeta Madahar, Rania Matar, Irina Rozovsky, Tara Sellios, Steve Smith, Martin Stupich, among many others.
