Paperworks 2016
Judge: Heidi Hirschl, Curatorial Assistant, Museum of Modern Art, NY.
Award: Exhibition of selected works, August 2016 at the b.j.spoke gallery.
Calendar: Exhibition Dates: August 2 - 28, 2016. Reception Saturday August 6, 6-9 PM.
Eligibility: Artists living in the United States who use paper as their primary medium, as a substrate, or as the subject of a video.
Media: Works made of, on or about paper: cut paper, folded paper, woven paper, glued paper, drawings, paintings, pastels, prints, photographs, paper sculpture, 3D, bound books, collage, mixed media, video, installation.
Instructions: Installation pieces must be installed and removed by the artist. All work must be framed and wired and/or display-ready. Use plexiglass only – no glass for any shipped work. Artists are responsible for shipping their own work to and from the exhibit.
Artist Notifications: Artists will be notified of acceptance/rejection by May 30.
