Juror: The exhibit will be juried by Amanda McCavour. She is a dynamic young fiber artist from Toronto, Canada with a BFA from York University and a MFA from Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia.

Work must have been completed in the past two years (since January 2015).
No ceiling hung work, no perishable organic materials. All pieces to be artists original design. Components must fit thru a standard door.
Work must fit the theme “An Altered Environment”.
Sales, Insurance, Liability: All entries to include sale price or Not for Sale (NFS). All entries must include insurance value, when for sale or NFS. The insurance value under Maryville’s insurance is 50% of sale price.
Artworks are to be insured by the artist until the reach the gallery. All reasonable care will be taken with your works. MoFA , nor MoFA members cannot be held responsible for theft or damage.
Sales will be directly from the artists. Art is to remain in the show until December 16, 2017.
Maryville does not charge a commission on sales.
MoFA and Maryville University reserve the right to photograph, and use your submitted photographs for reproduction in color or B&W for education and publicity purposes, regardless of copyright.
To Enter: Primarily fiber artworks 2D & 3D forms.
Individual artists may submit up to 3 artworks, with artist statements for each. The fee is $25 for up to 3 pieces. Artist statements limited to 75 words per entry.
***You may enter up to 3 artworks with 2 images each (a regular shot and a detail shot) for a total of 6 images. ***
Collaborative work is accepted. The fee is an additional $25 for up to 3 collaborative pieces.
Submissions must comply with rules in order to be presented to the juror.
Individual artists submit 1 application from their individual profile account.
Collaborative artists submit 1 application from a team profile account. A team account is separate account within Cafe.
Entry deadline: May 15, 2017 to include entry fee, images and artist statement for each entry.
Notifications emailed by July 1, 2017.
Art work delivered by Oct 24 & 25th, 2017 Details for delivery in acceptance letters.
Venue Dates: November 9, 2017 – December 15, 2017
Reception: November 9, 2017 5:00-7:00 PM Juror talk at 6:00 PM
Location: Maryville Morton J. May Foundation gallery, 650 Maryville Dr., St. Louis, MO 63141.
Access to gallery is through the library.
Awards: Best of Show, plus additional recognition may be awarded by juror.
Pick-up Artwork: December 16, 2017 at gallery or arrange for pre-paid shipping.
