The Ann Arbor Art Center is seeking handmade works of art for the 3rd annual Art Off the Wall holiday exhibition. Art Off the Wall is designed to give patrons the opportunity to purchase original, handmade works of art as holiday gifts or to add to their personal art collection. Artwork is purchased directly “off the wall” for a fun and festive shopping experience.

All artwork mediums are welcome, including painting, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, photography, prints, glass and textiles. Artwork is NOT required to be holiday themed.

A $25 entry fee entitles each artist to submit up to five images. Images may represent a single artwork, five individual artworks, or a collection of the artist's small work. Only credit or debit card payments will be accepted. No cash or checks, please.

Members 
As a benefit of membership, members of the Ann Arbor Art Center receive a 50% discount on the submission fee. You must enter the special discount code at checkout. To receive the special discount code, you must verify your membership by contacting the gallery.

Current 117 Gallery Shop Artists
Artists who are currently showing their artwork in the 117 Gallery Shop are exempt from jury if showing the same media as currently represented and do not need to resubmit to this call. You must contact the gallery no later than October 1 with your intentions of bringing new work.

Submission Guidelines
Artists are invited to submit up to five images as jpeg files per entry. Artworks should have been created within the past three years; 2D artworks may not have been previously shown in any Ann Arbor Art Center exhibitions. 

The jurying process is anonymous however artists must submit their CV and bio to the gallery as part of their submission. Acceptable formats for documents are .doc and .pdf and must be labeled using the following format: Lastname_firstname_CV and Lastname_firstname_Bio

Please Note: This is a juried exhibition and all entries must be submitted digitally for consideration. Submission does not guarantee artwork acceptance. Submission fees are non-refundable. Accepted artworks must arrive “ready to hang” – the Art Center reserves the right to decline artworks that do not meet gallery standards or do not represent artist submission.

Sales
The Art Center retains a 50% commission on sold work. Artists should price their work accordingly. Commission checks are mailed on the 15th of the month following the sale. 

Delivery
Works may be hand delivered or shipped UPS, USPS or FedEx within the dates in the calendar. If shipping, the artist is responsible for all associated shipping costs, including arranging for return shipping.
