JUROR: J. RODNEY REVEAL
J. Rodney Reveal was born and raised in Noblesville, Indiana, granted a full painting and sculpture scholarship to the California College of Arts in Oakland, California, and returned to Indianapolis John Herron School of Art to continue his art studies. He was encouraged by Gordon Morrison, his high school art teacher, and inspired by Floyd Hopper with whom he studied for several years.
PRESENTATION
All artwork must arrive ready to hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted, (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed and firmly wired. No saw tooth hangers. TCA reserves the right to disqualify any selected entry upon arrival that does not meet the above requirements or is deemed unsuitable for display.
FEES
Payments are made at the end of the CaFE™ entry process either via credit card online or a check mailed to the art center.
JURY/ENTRY FEE
urying will be done on the basis of digital images in a jpg format only. Up to four works may be entered for consideration. Non-refundable fee $35 ($30 with TCA Member discount) $5 each additional entry image up to 4 entries ($3 each additional image fee with TCA Member discount)
Artists agree to release use of images of accepted works to TCA only as a permanent record of the exhibition and only for promotional use related to the exhibition and the art center. Accepted artists will be invited to submit a high resolution file of their exhibit image for consideration for use in print promotions including the exhibit postcard. Once accepted, you may email a jpeg file that is at least 300 dpi to Exhibitions@TubacArts.org. Please include your last name and first initial along with the title in the name of the file. example: SmithJ_PaintingTitle.jpg.
ARTWORK
Giclee reproductions printed on canvas are not permitted. Entry must be original, entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA. No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close of the exhibition on Sunday, February 26, 2017 including sold art.
SALES
All work must be for sale. TCA will retain a 40% commission. Price work accordingly
SHIPPING
Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA. Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after close of the exhibition. Artists must provide a barcoded preprinted PREPAID shipping label for the return of their artwork. Please no styrofoam peanuts, please.
