ELIGIBILITY: Open to all original artwork completed by the submitting artists. Art cannot have taken a prize in a prior City Lights show. 150 pieces will be selected for exhibit from March 1 - 31, 2017.
CATEGORIES: Watercolor, Oil, Acrylic, Photography, Drawing/Pastel and Other Media
PRIZES:
Best of Show: $250
1st Place: $100 each category
2nd Place: $50 each category
3rd Place: $25 each category
SPECIFICATIONS: Size limit 1,100 sq. in.piece. 3 entry maximum
FRAMING: Artwork must be framed and under clean plexiglass unless 16 x 20 or smaller (which can be under glass). Plexiglass is optional on canvas and hardboards. Gallery wrapped canvas with painted borders is acceptable. All paintings much have a backing board and be ready to hang. The wire must be able to support the weight of the painting and be attached with D Rings (no hanging clips).
A certificate of authenticity must be affixed to all accepted entries. The Artist must sign a Hold Harmless Agreement when artwork is delivered.
Delivery/Shipping:
Artists are responsible for shipping to and from City Lights. Shipments should be made to City Lights Art Gallery, 3 E Army St, Henderson NV 89015. Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after close of the exhibition. Artists much provide a PREPAID shipping label for return of their artwork.
