Juror Emily Zilber, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston’s first Ronald L. and Anita C. Wornick Curator of Contemporary Decorative Arts, oversees their dynamic program of contemporary decorative arts. Her 2015 exhibition and accompanying catalog, Crafted: Objects in Flux, showcased 41 international artists from different generations and stages in their careers who push and redefine the boundaries of craft. She served in the juror group for Excellence in Fibers 2016, Fiber Art Now’s juried exhibition in print. Before coming to the MFA, Zilber was assistant curator at Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills, MI.  Zilber holds a BA in art history from The University of Chicago and an MA from the Bard Graduate Center for Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture.

ELIGIBILITY:  Artists living in the U.S. or Canada may submit up to three entries.
· Innovative two- and three-dimensional quilts are invited.
· Work must be completed in 2016 or 2017.
· Collaborative works are invited. Artists submitting both collaborative and individual works must apply separately.
· Artwork must be an original design/concept and not created in a class or workshop. Student work is accepted if created outside the classroom and without an instructor’s guidance.
· Maximum height or width is 108”.

NOTIFICATION:  Artists will be notified by email or phone by January 5, 2018.

IMAGES: Jurying will be from digital images only.  
• Image quality is critical. The full image should be on a neutral background with all outside edges of the work visible. Color must represent the work accurately. 
• Accepted works differing significantly from the digital image will be returned.
