Regional Juried Exhibition"Water: More or Less" calls for art commenting on the role of water or sustainability within our environment. This exhibition is hosted by Richland College in Dallas, Texas.

Juror Talk and Awards Presentation: 5:30 p.m.
Juror:
Paul Villinski lives and works in New York City. Villinski’s work has been exhibited extensively, often utilizing ‘recycled’ materials in inventive ways. In the wake of post-Katrina New Orleans Villinski developed the ideas behind an 'Emergency Response Studio' to confront topics of global and local responsibility, disaster relief, and the place of art within community.

Awards:
$1500 will be presented at the juror’s discretion.
Accepted works will be published in a catalog commemorating the event.
Eligibility:
Regional Artists: All artists who apply must live in Texas or bordering states: Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico and Arkansas.
(The regional parameters echo the sustainable building practice of gathering all resources from within a 500 mile radius.)
* All media accepted. Work must not exceed 30lbs.
* Work must have been created within the last three years.
* Work display must be considered, video and projectors must be provided unless other arrangements are made.

* Audio and Video works... CaFE requires still images to complete the entry. Media can be mailed to Richland Gallery for the juror.
*All entry fees will go towards Richland College Scholarships.
