PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Using Margate as the inspiration, artists are asked to create a work of art that showcases Margate’s assets. Photography will not be accepted.

ARTWORK SPECIFICS: Submitted artwork must be able to cover the template area (limited white space) and be clearly visible from a distance. Utility boxes vary in size; the design must be able to be scaled to different size boxes. Once artists are selected, boxes will be assigned and exact dimensions will be provided. See template attachment for general shape of utility boxes. Artwork will be digitally scanned and printed to adhesive film that will be adhered to the utility box. The boxes belong to Broward County and the Florida Department of Transportation and they have specific restrictions on design.
