Call Type: Exhibition
Eligibility: National

City: Ellensburg
State: Washington
Entry Fee: $35 fee for up to three submissions.
Event Dates: November 2—December 3, 2017
Entry Deadline: August 31, 2017

The Sarah Spurgeon Gallery at Central Washington University, located in Ellensburg, Washington, will host the INTERSTATE juried exhibit. Proceeds from this national exhibition will support student scholarships in the CWU Department of Art.

The exhibition is open to submissions in all media and subject matter; the artwork does not need to follow a particular theme. The subtitle, “where I-90 meets I-82” locates the exhibition in Ellensburg, Washington, and suggests the flow and exchange of artwork across geographic distances and boundaries.

The Sarah Spurgeon Gallery, founded in 1969, is dedicated to contemporary art exhibits and related outreach programs that enhance, engage, and challenge the viewer’s knowledge and understanding of art. The Gallery also presents artists and viewers alike with opportunities to explore culturally diverse ideas in an academic environment.
