Jurors: Skagit Artists has retained two art professionals to jury the exhibition.

Kris Ekstrand Molesworth is a painter and printmaker whose work explores the estuaries, farmland, ditches and dikes of the Skagit Valley. Her work is shown in Smith and Vallee Gallery and Museo (Langley) as well as one-person shows at Moses Lake Museum, Skagit Valley College, ACME and elsewhere. She also teaches monotype workshops in her Edison, WA studio.

Juror Statement: When viewing work from a diverse group of artists in a variety of media, I do my best to understand the individual artist's intent and then assess how well their intentions were carried out in form, craftsmanship and problem-solving.

Wade Marlow owned Blue Horse Gallery in Bellingham for 30 years. After getting a B.A as an art major Wade's real art education began in the gallery business and in the museums of Europe. Producing well over 200 shows and being a juror and judge for scores of shows has been a privilege as well as an education.

Juror Statement:  When speaking to artists about the process of selection and awards I tell the artist to not be too overjoyed about being selected or given an award or to be distressed if not, as ultimately it is just an opinion rendered. (Admin. Note: Wade is also the current president of Sculpture Northwest and has led many art adventure tours world wide.)
