VSU Call for Artists-Solo or Small Group Shows
Valdosta State University (VSU) Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery (Valdosta, Georgia) is reviewing solo and small group exhibition proposals for the 2018-2019 Season. The deadline is October 18, 2017. There is a $10 entry fee to cover administrative expenses. Artists 18+ are invited to apply; all media will be considered; artwork is insured while in the gallery; the gallery takes no sales commission. To apply, upload 10-20 images, (up to 6 videos if relevant,) and include a short description of your proposed exhibition with a list of all participating artists (for self-organized small group exhibitions.) Include an artist statement(s,) artist CV(s,) and describe any expenses that you would like/need covered by the Gallery (e.g., shipping of artwork.) Some stipend money may be available to help with expenses, depending on circumstances and Gallery budget.
The Dedeo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery hosts 8 exhibitions per acedemic year; 3 of the time slots are open for visiting artists, per this call for proposals. Images of accepted artists may be used for educational and promotional purposes by the Dedo Maranville Fine Arts gallery.
Submission of this application constitutes agreement with the stated terms.
