Eligibility: Any artist, 18 years or older, is eligible to enter work in any medium except video.  All entries must be the original work of the artist.
Specifications: Maximum size is 55” in any dimension.  All work must be suitable for presentation or framed.  Wall pieces must have appropriate hardware for hanging.  Art work previously exhibited in Giles Gallery is not permitted. Plexiglas glazing only.  The director will exclude work that does not conform to this standard any accepted work that differs significantly from the entered image may be disqualified. Note, that the gallery walls are carpet covered ¾” plywood.  Transparent pieces will be affected and some screws are too long for the walls.  Work that does not adhere to the guidelines, or does not conform to the  image submitted, will not be exhibited
Submittal Fee: $35 for a total of three entries. Sales: Giles does not take a commission on the sale of any art.  The director will put the interested parties in contact with each other.

11/21/17 – Last date for receipt of entry
01/13/ 18 Drop off of hand delivered work from 1:00- 4:00 PM
01/16/18 Last date for receipt of all accepted work.
01/22/18 Exhibition Opens
01/25/18 Reception from 5:00-7:00
2/ 16/18 Exhibition closes.
2/17/18 pick-up date for hand delivered work from form 1:00- 4:00 PM. 
All shipped work will be returned in its original container with prepaid label Please DO NOT use Styrofoam “peanuts” or their equivalents in packing.  Do not use the US Postal Service. UPS is the preferred carrier of EKU.  If FedEx is used, it is the artist’s responsibility to contact that carrier to retrieve work.
