2018 SYNC Gallery Student Artist Scholarship
SYNC Gallery
931 Santa Fe Drive
Denver, CO 80204

Scholarship
SYNC Gallery will be awarding one student, recent graduate or emerging artist an associate membership worth over $600 in SYNC Gallery for 2018.

Scholarship:
One student will be awarded an endowment to exhibit as an associate artist at SYNC Gallery for 2018.  Associate artist memberships cost over $600.  This award will allow an artist to exhibit in a well-established and respected co-op gallery for free.

SYNC Gallery exhibits a variety of contemporary abstract and conceptual works by a collective of emerging and established artists. Each month, select members display exciting work with a wide freedom of expression and invite a forum for discussion. Located in the Santa Fe Arts District in Denver – known for its vibrant arts scene – SYNC Gallery has become a destination for art lovers.

SYNC Gallery is an artist-run cooperative gallery where a juried group of artists have come together to provide a venue to jointly display and sell artwork.  It was first formed in 2009 by a group of artists who were interested in having a strong presence in the Santa Fe Art District.  It moved to its current location in September 2013.

SYNC Gallery provides a sense of community by creating a network of artists who can share experiences, provide insightful feedback, and pool resources. It allows members the opportunity to work in the gallery, to learn about the art business and to meet other artists, curators and gallery owners.

SYNC Gallery Associate membership affords the following benefits:
~ Display of your artwork for 6 months in a dedicated portion of the gallery except during group exhibits, juried exhibits or when showing during your scheduled individual exhibit.
     - Display space will be shared with your Associate partner. Scheduling of displays
will be worked out with your Associate partner.
     - About 2 linear feet of display space is provided.
~ An individual exhibit in the larger part of the gallery featuring your artwork during the 2018 calendar year.  Each individual exhibit is shared with your Associate partner and one other member artist.
~ Individual exhibits run a minimum of 3 weeks.
~ Exhibits are promoted in local and social media and through the SYNC website.
~ Participation in group exhibits as scheduled.
~ Participation in gallery meetings, events and networking.
