The Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust (HOST) established in 2014 is now accepting submissions of existing outdoor art works for the 2018 Art Loan Display. Haddonfield, NJ, a Historic town 6 miles East of Philadelphia, is realizing its goal of becoming the premier outdoor sculpture venue in Southern New Jersey. The program to date has included works from classical to Pop Art, figurative to abstract, all of which are displayed for one year with an honorarium of $500 plus installation by HOST. The competition is open to artists 18 years of age or older who reside in NJ, PA or DE. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist.
Sculptures chosen for exhibition will be installed in prominent downtown locations and will be featured in HOST’S multimedia publicity campaign. In addition, they will become part of HOST’s well received Walking Tours. Sales of works during the year of display is actively encouraged by HOST, which receives a 30% commission on all works sold. The current “Outdoor Gallery” can be seen at HADDONFILDSCULPTURE.ORG. A jury of noted Sculptors and Curators will make the final selections. Up to 3 works may be submitted per application.
