As we grow older, the maturity and insight life has given us multiplies. The viewpoints and experiences that come with age are invaluable lessons to us all on how to live life - and live it well. This month we will celebrate the talent and wisdom of the artist over 50.
Las Laguna Gallery is now accepting original submissions of artwork by those 50 and older. There are no restrictions on content, style, medium or context, and work may be traditional or digital.
All local, national, and international artists, professional and amateur, are encouraged to submit their works for this art exhibition..
Acceptable sizes: We do not have a limitation on size of works submitted but have found pieces over 48" to be costly for shipping and recommend manageable sized pieces.

This agreement (the “Agreement”) is hereby entered by and between LAS LAGUNA GALLERY and the
undersigned (“ARTIST”), in exchange for the presentation of Artist’s artwork in a gallery or online.I hereby
agree to the following:
1. Las Laguna Gallery will exhibit the artwork/s in an exhibition at LAS LAGUNA GALLERY, located in Laguna
Beach, California.
2. The artwork(s) exhibited and/or represented by LAS LAGUNA GALLERY, pursuant to this Agreement, are
hereinafter collectively referred to as the “ARTWORK” and refers to those artworks submitted by ARTIST to LAS
LAGUNA GALLERY and accepted by LAS LAGUNA GALLERY for exhibition.
3. In exchange for LAS LAGUNA GALLERY’S exhibition of ARTIST’S Work, ARTIST grants LAS LAGUNA GALLERY the
right to represent ARTIST in the sale of the “ARTWORK” by LAS LAGUNA GALLERY.
4. COMMISSION: The following commission/payment terms will apply to each subject “ARTWORK” sold by LAS
LAGUNA GALLERY: 65% (payment to ARTIST), 35% (commission to LAS LAGUNA GALLERY).
5. LAS LAGUNA GALLERY reserves the right to determine the terms of payment (cash, bank card, deferred or
installment) on sale of Art. For cash or bank card sale, the Gallery shall pay the Artist all proceeds due the Artist
within thirty-one (31) days of sale.
6. ARTISTS outside the United States are responsible for any exchange rate charges or bank transfer charges.
Please price works accordingly.
7. ARTIST retains ownership of all “ARTWORK” represented by LAS LAGUNA GALLERY until such “ARTWORK” is
sold, pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, or otherwise. ARTIST retains copyright to all consigned artwork in
perpetuity, as governed by law.LAS LAGUNA GALLERY shall take steps necessary to insure that the Artist's notice
of copyright is protected and included in all documentation.
8. Retail sales price for each “ARTWORK” will be established by the ARTIST. ARTIST is to include gallery
commission in the price listed. Please do not change prices with out speaking to Lori directly. Consider your price
carefully as it is difficult for us to change it – choose your price thoughtfully.
9. LAS LAGUNA GALLERY will exert all reasonable efforts to close sales of represented “ARTWORK”. ARTIST
agrees to provide LAS LAGUNA GALLERY, in a timely fashion and upon request, with any necessary documents or
information in support of sales.

10. If, during the duration of the exhibition, a Buyer is introduced to ARTIST’S “ARTWORK” through LAS LAGUNA
GALLERY, any eventual sale resulting from that introduction shall be subject to the terms of this Agreement.
11. PROMOTION: All entrants grant Las Laguna Gallery the right to use or publish images of their work to
promote the art exhibits, future call for entries, videos, or the art gallery. Selected entries may be included in
our online gallery, on our Facebook page, Instagram, Google+ page, ArtSlant Page, FLKR, blog or other social
media sites for the purpose of promoting artist and shows. Artist understands that his/her artwork may be
photographed for promotional or other purposes.
12. MODIFICATIONS: All modifications of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by BOTH parties. This
Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between LAS LAGUNA GALLERY and ARTIST.
13. Las Laguna Gallery is not responsible for any damage, breakage, need for replacement or cost associated
with any event that may have occurred during transport or unpacking. Every precaution will be taken in handling
the entries, but Las Laguna Gallery assumes no liability for any loss or damage to any artist’s work while in our
care, custody or control, before, during or after the exhibition. Each artist, if they wish, needs to provide their
own insurance.
14. SHIPPING YOUR WORK: Please ship work in sturdy, reusable cardboard box via UPS or Fed-Ex. You MUST
include a RETURN SHIPPING LABEL. If you are filling out the label, make sure you have your account number on
the label. LLG CANNOT accept checks, cash or PayPal to initiate return shipping! THE ARTIST MUST SEND A
COMPLETED RETURN LABEL. Work will be returned during the two weeks following the close of the exhibition.
Please NO WOODEN CRATE OR BOXES WITH SCREWS. Do not overwrap. Wrap securely and safely, but consider
the time and effort the gallery staff must incur to unwrap and rewrap when returning to you. NO PACKING
PEANUTS!
15. Any work left at Las Laguna Gallery 14 days after the close of the exhibition will be subject to a $5.00 per day
storage fee. Any work left at Las Laguna Gallery for more than sixteen days is subject to sale or disposal without
notification or recourse. Please be aware of when the show finishes and make sure we have your return label.
By signing this document, ARTIST agrees to each stipulation as outlined in this Agreement.
