DESCRIPTION
Next on the M.A.P.  is an entirely unique collaborative exhibition and residency opportunity for artists of any medium and at any point in their career. This August Next Gallery and the Meadow Arts Place will jointly host a handful of visiting artists for two and a half weeks. Selected artists will stay on the Meadow Arts Place inspiring retro house nestled on 40 acres in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Artists will be expected to create a body of both individual and collaborative work, including one site specific piece to be displayed on the M.A.P. property permanently.  Artists will have access to studio space, wood shop, potters wheel and a variety of other tools on the property.

The final collection of work will be displayed at Next Gallery for a three week period with an opening reception held on August 31, 2018. Artists will be invited to stay at the Meadow Arts Place through the opening of their show free of charge. Artists will be responsible for expenses including travel, food, and art supplies. Artists will also be expected to pay for the shipping of pieces not sold back to them. Next Gallery will retain a 35% commission on all pieces sold. NEXT Gallery reserves the right to final curatorial, installation, and marketing decisions regarding exhibition.

JURORS:
Next Gallery members and the board of Meadow Arts Place will view all entries and select final artists to participate.
