The artist or artist team will be required to create a mosaic tile splash pad and an iconic centerpiece which is interactive. (Refer to Crown Fountain at Millennium Park in Chicago). The splash pad at Wolk Park should depict ecological scenes of urban wild life, or children’s literature based on animals found in an urban environment. They will be expected to engage the community to understand how to sustain urban ecosystem such as: preserving habitats, reducing property damage, promoting appreciation for conservation and how to interact positively with urban wildlife.

The application deadline is due Monday June 18, 2018 and is open to all professional artists nationwide with experience working with public and private agencies and professional engineers.
