Juror Information
Farmington Museum is proud to announce that Alex Gregory, Curator of Art at the Amarillo Museum of Art, will be jurying this year’s exhibition.

Alex Gregory earned a BFA, MA, and MFA in studio art with a focus on ceramics. He has worked in a variety of roles at the Amarillo Museum of Art since 2007 before becoming the Curator of Art. As the AMoA’s sole Curator, Gregory is responsible for organizing an average of ten temporary exhibitions per year that are either drawn from the AMoA’s permanent collection or comprised of loans from artists, other museums, and private collections. In addition to his curatorial work, he has also served as a grant reviewer for Mid-America Arts Alliance and the Texas Commission on the Arts. In 2016, he was one of three jurors for the Hunting Art Prize, whose $50,000 award was historically the most generous annual award in North America for painting and drawing, which helped to build the reputations, raise the profiles, and support the careers of Texas artists.
