K12 Gallery & TEJAS is seeking artist vendors for their upcoming Artsy, Chic & Vibe Themed Artist Markets taking place late summer/early fall in Dayton, Ohio.  This series of four themed artist markets will showcase some of the Region's finest arts, crafts, and handmade goods.  Applicants can opt to participate in one of the themed markets or in all four.  Though each themed market highlights a specific media or age group, artists and craftspeople working in all media/caterogies are encouraged to participate.  These themed artist markets will be held both indoors and outdoors at K12 Gallery & TEJAS. Events will include food trucks, music, artist demonstrations and will be held in conjuction with First Friday and Saturday Art Class events.  

Markets will be held on the following dates:
Friday, Aug. 3; 4-9pm Creative Kids Market during Downtown Dayton's Art in the City event.
Friday, Sept. 7; 4-9pm Hairy Potters Artist Market.
Saturday, Sept. 15; 10am-4pm Print Makers Menagerie Artist Market.
Saturday, Sept. 22; 10am-4pm Hot Glass Galore Artist Market

K12 Gallery & TEJAS is a regional art center attracting hundreds of customers during promoted events in conjunction with Art in the City, Downtown Dayton's First Friday Events, and Saturday Art Classes.  These events offer a great opportunity for artists to show & sell the work you've been creating all year!

Regional artists (Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky residents) are eligible to participate. Attendance by the artist will be required during the artist market(s) they are selected to participate in.  Indoor booth spaces are aprox 6' x 10' and outdoor spaces are 10' x 10.  Events will be held rain or shine.  All vendors will need to provide their own freestaning displays/shelves/tables. Outdoor vendors will be required to provide their own tent. Electricity is limited and will be provided on a first come first serve basis.  Vendors will recieve 100% of the proceeds from their sales, but will be reponsible for collecting payments (via squarespace, cash, etc) from customers.  All items should have handmade components.  Artists may request to have a booth indoors or outdoors, but are not guarunteed that selection.  Generally, items priced between $3.00 to $500 sell best, especially tems priced under $50.  Accepted artist vendors will be required to man & work their own displays.

Event will provide regional promotion including both print and digital ads and articles, social media promotion, and artist website links on our K12TEJASGallery.org website.
*No staking allowed in the parking lot.  *No pets allowed, except for service animals.

To submit:
Applicants must submit 3 images.  Two images should show individual pieces representative of current work.  One image should be of your display booth set up.  Up to 5 total images my be submitted.  Please also include text (add this to the artist statement section).  Applicants will also need to answer the following questions: which themed artist markets you would like to be considered for, what kind of arts/crafts you plan to have on display, if you would prefer to be located indoors or outdoors, if you need access to electricity, and any other special requests you have.
Submission fee= $40  *(The submission fee is the ONLY fee artist vendors will have to pay for in order to participate.  There are no additional booth fees!)
