Now accepting applications for the 2018 Inglewood Open Studios (IOS)!
2018 will be the 12th year for this festive 2 day art tour. Free to the public, IOS invites visitors to discover Inglewood's vibrant local art scene with workshops for kids, performances, music and great food across the City at private art studios, art galleries and other spaces within the City of Inglewood. A group show of participants work with artist reception will be hosted at Residency Gallery, details TBA. Public transportation and street signage will be provided by our sponsor, The City of Inglewood.

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with our 2018 fiscal receiver South Bay Contemporary, SoLA Gallery. SBC SoLA is a non-profit art organization supporting advanced explorations in Contemporary art. SBC SoLA connects the South Bay and Los Angeles communities through contemporary art, with innovative projects and intentional exhibitions reflecting our diverse culture and today’s issues.
Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants must be artists or art organizations with either an art studio or art exhibition space within Inglewood City limits.
Artists must keep their space open for the length of the event (12-5pm both days) Artists may engage the help of an assitant but are encouraged to be present at their space to talk to visitors during the event.
When applying, be sure to include apartment or studio number with your address if your space is part of a larger complex.
If you plan to host other artists at your space, please also provide their names and forward this prospectus to them. Each artist exhibiting at your studio must register separately and pay a participation fee.

Participation fees are due by August 10. Applications without payment by August 10 deadline will not be accepted.
Events- New for 2018!
Participating Inglewood Open Studios artists, art galleries and art organizations are encouraged to host unique events the weekend of the tour. You will have the option to give a brief description of your event in your application, for review. A final list of events will be added to the IOS website and printed on flyers.
Sales
Sales often occur during IOS. No commission will be taken by IOS organizers or fiscal receiver, South Bay Contemporary, SoLA.
