VSU Call for Artists-Solo or Small Group Shows 2019-20 

Valdosta State University (VSU) Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery (Valdosta, Georgia) is reviewing solo and small group exhibition proposals for the 2019-2020 academic year. The deadline is October 15, 2018. There is a $15 entry fee to cover administrative expenses.

Artists 18+ are invited to apply; all media will be considered. Artwork is insured while in the gallery and the gallery takes no sales commission.  

To apply, upload 10-20 images, (up to 10 videos if relevant,) and include a short description of your proposed exhibition with a list of all participating artists (for self-organized small group exhibitions.) Include artist statement(s,) artist CV(s) and describe any expenses that you would like/need covered by the Gallery (e.g., shipping of artwork.) Some stipend money may be available to help with expenses, depending on circumstances and Gallery budget.

Note: The Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery hosts 8 exhibitions per academic year; 3 of the time slots are open for visiting artists, per this call for proposals.  Images by accepted artists may be used for educational and promotional purposes by the Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery. ​
