The jurors will select approximately 50 - 75 photographs to be shown in an eight-week exhibition at the prestigious Camera Obscura Gallery, one of the world’s oldest photography galleries. Exhibition dates are from December 10, 2010 through February 5, 2011.
Entries open: August 1, 2010
Deadline for entries: Midnight, MST, October 1, 2010
Judging: October 5—22, 2010
Notification of acceptance: Week of October 26, 2010
Public and Artists’ Reception: Friday, December 10, 2010

NOTE: A second CaFE registration profile and application will be required
for entry in a different category. The entry fee must be paid for each
submission. In addition, you will need to upload a new set of images to each
of your profiles. Registration content is not transferable from one account
to another. Return to the CaFE homepage www.callforentry.org for a new
profile registration and to submit a new application.

Frame Size Limits and Matting Requirements for Accepted Exhibition Photos:

All entries must be available for sale.
The largest framed dimension should be no larger than 40”. Only white and off-white mats, please. If the nature of your work requires the piece not be framed and/or matted, please email us at entries@cameraobscuragallery.com before submitting the work for jurying, explaining why.


Accepted works must remain in The Camera Obscura Gallery until the close of exhibition.
Accepted works must arrive for exhibition framed, using only Plexiglas or acrylic. Camera Obscura Gallery will accept no responsibility for any loss to framed artwork that uses any other glass.

•All accepted shipped works must include PREPAID Return Shipping Labels.
•Late or damaged shipments will be returned

Sales:

All work must be eligible for sale. Artists will state the retail sale price of their works. The Camera Obscura Gallery retains a 40% commission

Use Rights:

By submission for jurying, artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant The Camera Obscura Gallery the right to use their images for the purpose of marketing the exhibition and for display on the gallery website. Artists grant the use of their image(s) as stated, without further contact or compensation from The Camera Obscura Gallery. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use.
