The Arts Council of Livingston Parish invites current and former residents of Livingston Parish, Louisiana to submit art for exhibition and possible publication in a coffee-table styled book entitled “Preserving the Culture of Livingston Parish”. Juried multimedia art as inspired by life in Livingston Parish will be considered. Original traditional and contemporary works will include Fiber Art, Paintings, Photography, Pottery, Sculptures and Woodwork. Each artist whose work is selected will receive a book. Selected artwork will be exhibited at the Arts Council of Livingston Parish gallery at 133 Hummell Street, Denham Springs, LA 70726 from November 1, 2019 through December 29, 2019.
ELIGIBILITY AND GUIDELINES: Artists must be current or former residents of Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Artwork must be artists’ original design. Consideration is by digital images only (Photos must be in jpeg format using Café’ guidelines. Image size must be no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest size by 72 dpi. Maximum size is 5 mb. Artists may submit 3 entries.
NOTE: Accepted submissions must be provided in large, 300 Tiff files. Artists are responsible for delivery of accepted art to gallery for November 1– December 2019 exhibit. Artwork MAY be for sale. ACLP will keep 20% of sale prices. The Artist(s) confirms, to the best of their ability, the artwork entered does not violate any copyright or trademark laws. By submitting their work for review, the Artist(s) confirm they will adhere to all the above.
