Key components: • Allied Arts Council (AAC) and/or the City of St. Joseph, Missouri have the right to use photos of your work for promotional purposes. • NO SUBSTITUTIONS of accepted works are allowed. • If, for any reason, the artwork does not meet the requirements set forth by the committee, the committee reserves the right to reject the final artwork. • Accepted work must be available for the entire exhibition period from June 14, 2019 through May 17, 2020• No early release. In other words, all artwork must be available for the duration of the show. • Any removal of work prior to 5 p.m. May 17, 2020 will disqualify artist from future Sculpture Walk exhibitions. • All work submitted must be for sale and is subject to a 25% commission. • Only pieces priced $15,000 or less will be considered for purchase. • AAC will take the greatest care in handling all work. Art will be insured while on display in downtown St. Joseph, Missouri. The artist is responsible for insuring work to and from the exhibit. While there is no price limit, there is a limitation on our liability of $5000 for any single piece. • In the event the AAC or the City of St. Joseph incurs any costs associated with removal of the Sculpture for the Artist’s breach of Contract, and/or the Sculpture has to be stored before the Artist claims the Sculpture, the Artist will reimburse the AAC or the City of St. Joseph for such costs. • Submission of an entry to this exhibition constitutes agreement on the part of the entrant to these conditions. The St. Joseph Sculpture Walk Committee reserves the right to reject any works not properly presented or ready for exhibition. • The Artist, or designated representative of the Artist, will coordinate with the AAC for the installation of the Sculpture on the base at the exhibition site. The Artist, or designated representative, of the Artist will remain on site for the installation of the Sculpture. The installation must be completed in a manner reasonably satisfactory to the AAC and the City in order to assure safety of the public. • In the event that we do not receive enough submissions to justify the show, all entry fees will be reimbursed within thirty days of notification.
