First Place $450, Second Place $250, Third Place $150Whether it is the State of the Union, a state of mind, the condition of the world, the position of cultural, political, social, and economic opportunities, or the quality of life today: this exhibition examines the state of the world through the eyes of artists in regard to history, culture, diversity, ethnicity, climate, wildlife, workforce, healthcare, family, government, entertainment, beauty, and fashion.

Entries must be received no later than January 18, 2019. Each applicant must include;• 3 jpeg images labeled with title and artist’s last name • completed application form with entry fee (credit card) •

AcceptancesEmail notification for selected artwork will be sent by January 25, 2019. All accepted artwork must be delivered or shipped and ready to hang or exhibit. No clip fasteners for glass frames will be accepted. Ventura College reserves the right to refuse any artwork that is considered unsafe and ill prepared to hang.

Any accepted artwork received after Friday, February 22, will be disqualified without a refund.Sales
Any art sold during the exhibit will remain in New Media Gallery for the duration of the exhibition. All sales will be split: 75% to the artist, and 25% to New Media Gallery.Insurance
Gallery will insure artwork while on the Ventura College campus. Artists are responsible for insuring artwork while in route to and from the college. Ventura College will not accept any liability for damage caused during shipping.
