Menagerie- Wild and Wonderful and Duck, Duck, Bear will run simultaneously with the 23rd Annual North Carolina Wildlife Arts Festival. Works based in realism depicting wildlife will be shown as a body titled “Duck, Duck, Bear”, all other works will be exhibited as Menagerie- Wild and Wonderful. Exhibit sites will include The Contemporary Art Exchange and additional sites where attendees and event participants will congregate throughout the city. You are applying to a juried exhibit for two-dimensional and three-dimensional visual art. Prizes with a total cash value totaling $5,000 will be awarded. All artists ages 18 and over are eligible to submit up an original work with the initial entry fee. Up to 10 dditional submissions will be considered at $5.00 per entry. All work must be the sole work and exclusive property of the artist. Two dimensional work must be no larger than 120 x 120 inches. Three dimensional work may not exceed 9 feet in height. On site assembly for 3D works is not permitted.
The Contemporary Art Exchange is a locally owned for profit curator of fine art and fine craft. We operate a stand alone gallery at 137 E, Main St. Washington as well as furnish artwork for corporate, commercial and art venues.
