The Art Gallery at Umpqua Community College is seeking exhibition proposals for the 2019 - 2021 exhibition seasons. Emerging and established artists age 18 and over from the United States and Canada are encouraged to apply, and all media will be considered. Accepted artists may be offered solo or small group exhibits. 

SPECIFICATIONS
Artists 18 years and older, residing in the USA and Canada, are eligible.

Works may include, but are not limited to, drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and video installation. Entries must have been created within the last two years.

Two dimensional works should not exceed 60" x 60" and 20 lbs. without prior arrangement with the Art Gallery. Individual or component parts of three dimensional works cannot exceed 60" in width, 60" in depth, and 84" in height, nor weigh more than 40 lbs without prior arrangement with the Art Gallery.

Works submitted must be suitably framed, firmly wired, professionally presented, and ready for display. No sawtooth hangers and no sandwich frames. Please: test hang your work before delivery to ensure wires are secure and of an adequate strength to support the artwork. The Art Gallery will not be liable for damages caused by inadequate hanging hardward.

Video installations must include projection equipment.

All artwork must be clearly labeled with artist's name, title of work, media, and price (or NFS). Works must remain on display for the entirety of the exhibit. Work that is copied or completed under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. The Art Gallery reserves the right to exclude works that do not fit guidelines or do not reflect the quality initially proposed by the artist. 

The Art Gallery at UCC will retain a 20% commission of the purchase price on all works sold during the exhibt. A check for the purchase price less the 20% commission will be submitted to the artist within 30 days of the close of the show.

Video: 3GP, WMV, AVI, MOV, ASF, MPG, MP4, M2T, MKV, M2TS, under 100MB with a minimum resolution of 640x480; minum 12 fps.

DELIVERY
Shipping/Delivery instructions will accompnay email notification of acceptance. Shipping to the Art Gallery is the responsibility of the artist. No wooden crates or packing peanuts accepted. Return shipping via UPS will be provided by the Art Gallery at UCC for artwork that fits stated dimensions and weight, accompanied by a pre-printed Return Label and appropriate shipping materials. Any larger submissions or packages that weigh more than 20 lbs must be sent with a pre-paid return shipping label or shipper's UPS or FEDEX account number to charge to artist's account.

Work may be hand delivered/picked up during regular hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.), with advanced agreement with the Art Gallery. Exhibit installation/deinstallation days are Thursdays and Fridays. There are no exceptions.
