Artist may have up to 2 entries. The first entry is $30 and $15 for one additional entry. You may submit up to 1 image per entry. Clay Cubed will be juried from digital submissions by recognized Ceramic Artisit Jonathan Pacheco, Mixed Media artist Joey Knox and Deborah Venezia the Director of Arts DuPage.The show will be Judged by Benjamin Carter, renown Ceramic Artist and Instructor.

  • Functional and sculptural ceramic art must fit within one cubic foot (12"X12"X12") and use 75% of clay as the primary medium

  • Entry Deadline: *Deadline extended* - August 11, 2019. Artists notified by August 19, 2019 

  • Exhibition will be held on October 4, 2019 - October 25, 2019 at the ClaySpace gallery, 740 Front Street, Lise, IL 60532 

  • Deadline for Work Received September 13,2019

  • Opening Reception October 4, 2019 with the exhibit Open to Public October 4, 2019 - October 25, 2019

  • Begin Return Shipping of Work on October 27, 2019

  • Awards: Best of Show: $500 Second Best: $350 Third Place: $150 


Eligibility: 1. Clay Cubed is open to all artist working in the continental United States. 2. All work must be no larger than 12"x12"x12", and use 75% of clay as the primary medium. 3. All entries are presented to the jury in an anonymous manner. 4. All accepted works should not be too fragile for shipping and public display. 5. Accepted works may not be removed before the conclusion of the exhibition. Entries: 1. *DEADLINE EXTENDED: Online CAFE entry due on 8/11/2019. E-MAIL ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 2. The non-refundable entry is 1 submission for $30 and an additional submission for $15. Each entry must be paid in full. 3. Artists may submit up to one image per entry. 4. Artist whose works are accepted will receive shipping instructions. Artists will be responsible for all shipping fees to the gallery and must included return shipping label. 5. Accepted work which differs significantly from the image provided will be rejected. Sales: ClaySpace is responsible for all sales, will collect the Illinois sales tax, and will retain 30% of the selling price for its services. All prices quoted must be in US dollars. Photography: ClaySpace reserves the right to photograph and publish entries. Liability: Every reasonable precaution will me taken during receiving, installation, exhibition, and return of work, but ClaySpace, its employees, and volunteers will assume no responsibility for loss or damage incurred. Artists must carry their own insurance.
