Awards
$2,000 will be available for purchase awards. Purchased work will be added to the permanent collection of the Department of Art, housed in the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art. Awards will be selected by the juror after the accepted work has been received.
Eligibility
All artists residing in the United States are eligible to submit a total of three artwork entries. The exhibition will consist of works on paper, including photography and paper-based multi-media work. All work must be original and executed within the past three years.
Images
A maximum of three digital images may be submitted through CaFÉ (www.callforentry.org) for judging. Images must be clearly labeled with artist’s name, title, medium, and size. Accepted work that differs markedly from the digital image may be disqualified by the juror. Digital submissions only; do not send original works of art.
Entry Fee
A nonrefundable entry fee of $30 must accompany the submission.
PresentationFramed work must be under plexiglass (no glass). Unframed work must ready for hanging.
Catalog
A catalog of this exhibition will be mailed to all those accepted. The Department of Art reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries for the catalog and publicity.
Shipping
Accepted work must be sent prepaid in sturdy, reusable crates or cartons. Size of shipping container must conform to UPS and United States Postal Service size restrictions. Damaged or improperly packed crates will be returned at owner’s expense. Work must be received by August 29, 2019.
Return of Entries
Accepted work will be returned by UPS or USPS. Specify on identification label which method of return is preferred. UPS will not ship to a P.O. Box. Oklahoma State University will pay up to $100 of return shipping costs, the balance will be the responsibility of the artist.
Liability
The Department of Art, Oklahoma State University, cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to work while in transit to or from the gallery. Accepted works will be insured while on exhibit in the gallery. Submission of an entry into the exhibition indicates agreement by the artist to the conditions stated above.
