Theme
We live on a big planet that is feeling smaller and smaller with the advancement of technology. This technology can have a positive or negative impact on us. However, we are all connected beyond technology and what we do, feel, express, and think has a ripple effect on those that are around us and eventually extends to those far from us. How do you preceive this Interdependence as humans, as diverse species, as ecosystems, as a planet?

This planet is our only home and she has provided for all of us in every way possible. Our lives here are interconnected, not separate, even if we can not always easliy perceive that. Every action we do has an impact on some level on other people, other creatures, and environments. We live in a diverse web of life in which all aspects are equally important. Some individuals, corporations, and governements try to deny this, but it is the truth of Earth.

Express visually how to be aware and conscious of the effects we have on the life and environments that surrounds us. Enter your works that illustrate the connectedness between individuals and communities, between species and ecosystems, between earth and sun, or whatever relationship you would like to explore or have explored in your artwork. Show what it means to you to be presonally, regionally, or globally Interdependent

This is an all media 2-D exhibition. Painting, Drawing, Photography, Mixed-Media, Digital, and all 2-D media are excepted. All accepted works must be ready to hang! This means, already properly wired. Unwired works will not be accepted. No sawtooth hooks.
