A World in Small Dimension
Gallery 621 proudly presents an exhibition of small works juried by the accomplished
artist/curator Chester Arnold. The MICROCOSMOS 2 exhibit will demonstrate the
exciting power and sublime beauty of worlds created in small scale. Each piece
submitted will have a maximum dimension of 12 inches in any direction and must be
hand delivered on the dates specified below.

Entry Deadline Extended: Wednesday October 9, 2019 at 10 pm
The MICROCOSMOS 2 exhibit will run from Friday November 1, thru Sunday
December 1. An artist’s reception will be held on Saturday, November 9, from 5-8pm
with a commentary on the exhibition by Mr. Arnold.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists able to deliver works to Gallery 621 in Benicia,
California. Entries must be original artwork completed in the last 2 years, 2017 to 2019.
ACCEPTED ENTRIES: All media is accepted with the exclusion of installation and
video. For this call we are looking for exciting small-scale pieces, no larger than 12” x
12” including frame, and 12" x 12” x 12" for 3D.
ENTRY FEES: A non-refundable fee of $35 is required for application. This fee covers
up to 3 entries. One application per artist only. Online submissions are not considered
complete until payment is made.
NOTIFICATION: Notification of the juror’s selections will be made by email on October
14, 2019. Gallery 621 bears no responsibility for incorrectly submitted email addresses
or failure of an artist's email service.

SALES: All artwork must be for sale. If an artwork is sold, Gallery 621 will mail a
payment of 50% of the sale price to the artist within 30 days of the close of the exhibit.
PHOTOGRAPHY and PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS: Your entry gives Gallery 621
permission to use images of your artwork and to photograph the artwork for
promotional, educational or historical purposes.
LIABILITY: All due care and caution will be taken in the handling of artwork. Gallery
attendants will be present during the hours of operation. Gallery 621 does possess
limited insurance for the contents of the gallery against damage or theft. However, the
artist assumes all liability for artwork during the show & dates (from the day of delivery
through the day of removal) and should obtain their own insurance coverage in order to
mitigate any potential loss.
