Background on JSP:

JSP is a 30-acre park that opened in September 2009 on reclaimed farmland & is free & open 365 days per year. The mission of JSP is to provide community arts education & creative experiences while conserving the beauty of Kentucky’s native, rural landscape. Our commitments are to support the arts, inspire opportunities & expression, build a stronger, healthier community & conserve the beauty of Kentucky's fine natural & cultural heritage through outdoor, creative activities. JSP is located 5 minutes from downtown Frankfort, 2 miles off I64 in Franklin Co, KY. Currently, nearly 70 works of art created by artists from across the globe (primarily large-scale outdoor contemporary sculpture) are on rotating exhibition in the midst of native meadows at the park and at our Satellite Exhibition Spaces across Franklin County, KY.

Artist residency & exhibition programs support local & regional emerging, mid-career & professional artists through a unique, supported & equipped non-traditional space for large-scale outdoor sculpture & community artworks in central KY.
