ELIGIBILITY
Wall hanging work only. 2D work or arranged 3D objects are to be mounted inside a frame. Groupings constituting one piece are welcome so long as they fit within framework. Must be “ready to hang”. The artist will provide the wall mounting parts, findings, and any specialty hanging tools. Please provide a detailed description and diagram of how the piece is arranged and hung. The artist is responsible for shipping to and from the gallery. Artists must be 18 years or up.

ENTRIES & FEES
Each artist may submit up to 3 entries. Groupings count as one submission if the pieces are directly related and dependent on each other. To apply visit www.emergegallery.com Under Artists and Artist Opportunities. Fee is $15 for up to 3 entries. ECU students may submit for $5 with coupon code. All work must be labeled with the title and artist name at time of delivery if accepted. Return shipping label must be provided.

DEADLINES
Entries  must be submitted online by : November 16, 2019. Accepted work that is shipped must be received by December 17th or hand delivered by December 17th, between 10am-8pm. 

PICK UP OF ACCEPTED WORK
Work shipped will be returned the week of February 3, 2020. Work will need to be picked up Friday, January 31 between 10am - 9pm or Saturday, February 1, 2020 between 10am - 4pm.

AWARDS
There will be three cash awards: 
1st Place - $175 
2nd Place - $100  
3rd Place - $50

ABOUT THE JUROR
Ken Bova is a Past President of the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) with work in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian, Racine, Tacoma, Philadelphia, and Georgia Art Museums among others. He has presented workshops nationwide in places such as Haystack, Penland, Arrowmont, Idyllwild, and Peter's Valley. He serves as a Chair of the Presenters Selection Committee for the Yuma Symposium.

Bova taught for nearly 20 years in the Jewelry/Metals program at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana and a semester in MSU's study abroad program in Corciano, Italy.

In 2010 he accepted a position as a visiting artist at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. In 2012 he accepted a tenure track position there as an Associate Professor and teaches senior studio courses, enameling, and is Area Co-coordinator overseeing the graduate program in Metal Design.
