ABOUT FOTOFOTO GALLERY:
fotofoto gallery was formed in 2003 by a group of fine art photographers desiring to create a center where photographic visions could be exchanged. Now in our sixteenth year, fotofoto gallery continues to be a place for the photographic community and students to view a wide range of photographic processes including traditional black and white, digital, experimental and alternative processes. The gallery hosts twelve exhibitions each year and reaches out to the community by providing invitational shows, workshops and lectures. The gallery is located in the heart of Huntington, New York and is open Wednesday through Sunday, and by appointment. Fotofoto gallery is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

ABOUT THE JUROR:
Dan Burkholder is known for looking over photography’s horizon to discover dynamic new ways to capture and express the photographic image. In the early 1990’s Dan wrote the groundbreaking Making Digital Negatives for Contact Printing, opening doors for legions of image-makers wishing to combine the precision of digital imaging with the warmth and charm of the handmade print. Dan’s subsequent pioneering explorations of HDR, iPhone photography and working with precious metals — in both salt and leaf forms — has further cemented his reputation as one of photography’s most creative innovators.
