On Thursday, May 7, the Boston Society for Architecture will present the second annual BSA Auction Fundraiser. Join hundreds of architecture and design professionals as well as enthusiasts at BSA Space for an evening of art, networking, fun and fundraising. The proceeds from the Auction and cocktail party support our mission to build a better Boston.
Call for Auction Donations:
o The BSA will be accepting submissions through Café.
o Submissions will be accepted online until February 14, 2020
o You may submit up to three (3) items for consideration by our jury.
o Suggested monetary value for each item should be proposed in the submission. Items selected by the jury without a suggested monetary value will be assigned a value by the jury. Jury decisions regarding monetary value are final.
o Submissions will be reviewed by a jury consisting of architects, curators, and scholars.
o Jury decisions will be shared by March 20, 2020.
o Once accepted, all work becomes a gift to the BSA Foundation.
o Jury decisions are final.
o As acknowledgement, accepted donors will receive 1 complimentary ticket to the auction.
o Accepted items should be hand delivered in person or via a professional shipping company to the BSA between March 30 and April 17. More details will be sent with the notification of accepted artwork.
o All donorswill be notified of the sale of their artwork by May 15, 2020.
o Your donation may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
