The Paseo Project provides an opportunity for artists to envision, develop, and execute their work with the community of Taos, New Mexico.  The P.P.A.I.R. (Paseo Project Artist in Residence) Program provides a project-based residency set within a rural environment steeped in history, art, and culture.  Taos is a centuries-old Art Colony and home to Taos Pueblo, UNESCO protected and the oldest continually inhabited community in North America. Home to artists for centuries, The Paseo Project holds to the tradition of bringing artists from around the world to both inspire and be inspired. The P.P.A.I.R residency consists of use of a studio/office space, accommodations, and a $2,000 stipend. This program brings emerging and established artists from a diversity of practices for a 3-week residency in Taos.

For 2020 the Paseo Project is seeking submissions from projection, installation, and performance artists to join us in Taos. This unique opportunity provides artist to work with our community in the execution of their work. Artists are offered a 3-week residency between April - November 2020. Working closely with the organization and local collaborators, artists will have the opportunity to research, design, and perform their work in the high desert of Northern New Mexico.
