Welcome New and Returning Artists,
The 2020 Sunnyview Art for the View Call for Entries is now open!

For over 90 years, Sunnyview has been leading the field in physical disability rehabilitation services in New York.  In an effort to expand on its mission to improve the lives of people with disabilities, the Viewpoint Gallery collects artwork created exclusively by artists with disabilities.  By exhibiting works of art throughout the facility, we hope that our growing collection will inspire patients and visitors alike to reach beyond limitations and encourage everyone to explore their own abilities and creativity.
The exhibit, featuring art and fine crafts by artists with physical, cognitive, hearing and visual disabilities will be featured first at a ticketed Art for the View event on October 22, 2020. Then the exhibit will be on display from October 26, 2020 through December 4, 2020, at Sunnyview Hospital in Schenectady, NY. The Sunnyview exhibit is free and open to the public. All artwork on display at the hospital is for sale.

We encourage emerging artists and experienced artists alike to enter. We welcome all media.  We strongly encourage jewelry and fine crafts artists to submit items for consideration.

The online application is free, very short, and easy to complete. Up to five (5) pieces may be submitted.

On behalf of Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, we invite you to submit your work to Art for the View
